Japan's oldest Kannon to ward off evil [Matsuo Kannonji]
More than 600 years ago, when the main hall was destroyed by fire, two dragon gods appeared from the pond.
There is a [Dragon God Legend] that protects Kannon from a fire.
The Ryūjin Garden, which was built after this Ryujin legend, is now at its peak.
The flowers are blooming earlier than usual and the best time to see them is likely to be until this weekend (around April 27th).
