A moon-viewing event will be held on Tuesday, September 9th at the Magatama Pond Dedication Stage at the Geku Shrine of Ise Jingu.
The Ise City Tourism Association will be holding a moon-viewing tea ceremony in honor of the moon-viewing party.
A tea ticket is required for the Moon Viewing Tea Ceremony.
Tea tickets are free.
They will be available at the Geku Tourist Service Center from August 8th (Tuesday).
This is an elegant event in which the musicians of the shrine perform in an ancient style, admiring the harvest moon and performing excellent tanka and haiku poems submitted from all over the country.
On the day of the event, the venue will be surrounded by the soft light of the full moon in a solemn atmosphere.
