Furusato nozei is a system that allows you to make donations to the hometown where you were born or to a local government you want to support. By making a donation, you can receive a reduction (deduction) in your resident tax in the local government where you live and a refund (refund) on your income tax from the tax office. It is an attractive system that allows you to specify how your donation will be used and also receive a gift such as a local specialty product as a thank you.

Ise City's "Ise e-Machi Gift" is a "travel version" of hometown tax payment. If you make a donation on the spot, you can receive a local electronic gift certificate (30% of the donation amount) that can be used at affiliated stores in Ise City, such as accommodations, restaurants, leisure facilities, and souvenir shops, as a thank you gift.
