History

Since 2007, we have appointed individuals with ties to Ise who have been active in the travel and business industries as "Ise Tourism Guides," and have asked them to disseminate information through word of mouth and provide advice to Ise City.

Nearly 20 years have passed since the establishment of the Oshi system, and the environment surrounding information dissemination has changed significantly. We have been considering a new system to replace this one.

We had previously launched a nationwide network concept, aiming to build a network that would complement the Oshi system, but the COVID-19 pandemic thwarted our plans, and we had to postpone its launch. Now that the long-running pandemic has ended, we are pleased to announce that we will be launching a new system based on the long-awaited nationwide network project, called "Ise Yuito," on April 1, 2025.

Who is Ise Yuto?

The name "Ise Yuito" literally means "people who connect Ise," and we invite individuals who have a strong attachment to Ise and a deep connection to the area to take on this role and help us disseminate information about Ise. Their activities will primarily be unpaid, and we will share Ise City's tourism information with them, enabling them to disseminate information through word-of-mouth, social media, and other ICT tools. We also ask for their cooperation in disseminating information for various projects of the tourism association.
