The Ise City Tourism Association was certified as a registered Destination Management Organization (DMO) on March 31, 2023. A DMO is an organization that acts as a command center for tourism development in a region, collaborating with various stakeholders and incorporating a scientific approach.
The Ise City Tourism Association, a DMO (Destination Management Organization), has taken the lead in developing a strategic plan for "Tourism in Ise." To achieve the goal of "the benefits of tourism reaching all of Ise and revitalizing the city," we will work to understand and coordinate the activities of each organization and make the most effective use of the resources (people, goods, and money) available in Ise City.
This strategic plan is not just a plan from the tourism association, but a tourism strategy plan for the entire city of Ise. Let's work together as a team to revitalize Ise!
