At "Kappo Sushi Ise Katsura", which is just off Iseshi Station, I ate Ise-Shima's specialty tekone sushi and local gourmet rice bowl (Migan).
Tekone sushi is a local dish that Ise-Shima fishermen have come up with.It is said that the name comes from the process of making sashimi from fish caught offshore, entwining it with soy sauce, and mixing it vigorously by hand.You can enjoy fresh fish such as yellowfin tuna and trot dragonfly.
饌 means "food".From the knees of the outer shrine where the god of food is enshrined, a bowl of rice was born to convey the importance of food.Around the outer shrine, various bowls made with ingredients from the Ise Shima region are on sale, but here you can enjoy bowls made with Ise tuna.

"Ise Hot Chocolate" is sold only at Ise stores.It contains roasted green tea from Mie prefecture and has a lighter taste than ordinary hot chocolate.
