Asamadake Kongoshoji Temple / Asama Mountain Top ObservatoryKongo Shoji / Asama-san

A brilliant spot on the mountain

The observatory on the mountain and Kongoshoji Temple are sightseeing spots that use the toll road called Iseshima Skyline.Buses operate on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (Obon, which also operates during the year-end and New Year holidays), so you can go to play without a car.
Kongoshoji is a temple that protects the demon gate of Ise Jingu. You can refresh your mind and body in a green place. If you go up the long stairs, you will find the main temple. In the olden days, people who visited Ise Jingu always stopped by this temple.
After worshiping, head to Asama Mountain View Point. The scenery you reach when you climb Mt. Gungun is spectacular. From an altitude of 555 meters, you can overlook the peninsula with many small islands.
Don't forget to take a photo at the post in the sky, a popular photo spot on the observatory. When I send a letter from a place near the sky, I feel that my feelings are conveyed.Original postcards are sold at nearby shops.
Enjoy plenty of sightseeing and the last thing to enjoy is Ise gourmet.Enjoy the last Ise gourmet at "Orange Cafe wood" near Isuzugawa Station.
